App Charges and Billing

Shopify manages all app charges and billing cycles according to its policy, which you can find here.

How Am I Charged for BackupMaster?

Upon selecting a plan, charges commence after the 7-day free trial period. The subscription is based on a 30-day cycle, billed at the start, and will appear on your Shopify invoice, accessible in your Shopify Billing settings here.

By choosing a BackupMaster plan, you agree to the subscription charges associated with it.

Managing Your Subscription

To change your BackupMaster plan, visit the "Subscription" section within the app's "Settings" page at any time.

Cancel Subscription

To cancel the subscription, you only need to uninstall the app, and then Shopify will cancel it automatically. To uninstall the backup app, follow the standard procedure. From your Shopify admin, click Settings > Apps and sales channels. Locate BackupMaster and click Uninstall. This policy does not cover pending charges already incurred.

Upgrades and Downgrades

You can upgrade or downgrade your backup plan within our app's settings. Shopify will adjust the charges automatically. For more information on how Shopify handles upgrades and downgrades, refer to this link: Shopify Billing Help.

Pausing Your Store

Switching to Shopify's "Pause and Build" plan means third-party app charges, including BackupMaster's, continue as per Shopify's app charge policy. To avoid charges while your store is paused, it's recommended to uninstall any third-party apps with recurring charges.

Uninstalling the App

To uninstall the backup app, follow the standard procedure for uninstalling any other app. From your Shopify admin, click Settings > Apps and sales channels. Locate BackupMaster and click Uninstall. For more details, please refer to this guide: Uninstalling Shopify Apps. When you uninstall the app, Shopify cancels future app charges for the backup app upon the app's uninstallation. This policy does not cover pending charges already incurred.
